Train2Change Fitness & Performance Training

NBBA and Train2Change Fitness & Performance are excited to collaborate on a Strength and Speed training program for female and male athletes of all sports ages 8-18! This collaboration will help give our athletes the athletic skills to compete at the highest level.

At NBBA, we strive to provide our athletes with the best tools and resources to optimize basketball performance on the court. Athletic ability often separates equally skilled players and athletes who are faster, more powerful and explosive easily stand out amongst the others.

Building Better Athletes for All Sports

Building a solid athletic foundation and developing the total athlete involves a careful balance and combination of age appropriate strength training, power development, speed training and skill development. Limitations in any of these areas can prevent the athlete from reaching their full athletic potential. Founder and Sports Performance Expert, Rob Viramontes has dedicated over 24 years helping countless athletes of all ages and abilities become faster, stronger, more confident, and mentally tougher.

The Jr. Performance and VPREP programs are designed to help athletes of all sports, are age-appropriate and consist of functionally sound movement training, strength training and conditioning.   While prioritizing a strong focus on proper technique, the workouts become progressively more challenging once basic techniques have been mastered.

Every training session  focuses on building power, endurance, speed, and agility through dynamic workouts.  With each drill, athletes concentrate on correct running form, athletic body positioning and proper techniques associated with cutting, pivoting, while staying in the game and off the sidelines.

My kids, Jocelyn (SR), John (SO) and Michael (FR) are athletes at Marin Catholic HS and have been working with Rob and Train2Change Fitness & Performance the past few months. It has been nothing short of transformative for all three of them. It's way beyond just physical strength and fitness. You've literally helped them shape a part of their identity in the most critical years of their lives as they (and all teenagers) struggle to do that. The positive influences of working with you and getting to know you are immeasurable and will last their whole lives. There's no way I or they can repay you for that. I know I sound dramatic, but I mean every word-- you are doing God's work and have tremendous talent. Keep it up!

In my last year training with Rob, I have gotten so much stronger and seen it pay off in all aspects of my game. So happy we found Rob and that he is part of my journey - our workouts are the highlight of my week!

I am beyond shocked that Hunter is loving working with Rob. I thought for sure that work WITHOUT a ball would not be his favorite. I'm THRILLED about this program and have already told several friends.

Paris and Inka had a blast with Coach Rob. Thanks for making it fun. We've been looking for a program like this!

I’ve seen a big difference in both the boys’ play after just three sessions with you. Porter is working with much more confidence and was super aggressive on defense this weekend. Palmer seems to be significantly faster, actually both of them do, and that’s something they both needed to work on. Most importantly, the boys LOVE their sessions with you. They both leave completely exhausted, sweaty, but feeling very accomplished. Excited to see their continued improvement!

Zach has really liked the program. Coach Rob worked him hard but he pushed through. He thinks it's definitely going to help him with soccer!

Sienna (FR) has had a good experience so far. She told me her legs were aching after, so that is a good sign that she was working hard. She has had really passive gentle coaches in the past, so she said she actually liked that you pushed her to keep working hard. She thought it was a good balance of being strict and hard. Sienna thinks it will help her a lot in track and volleyball. I think going forward she is just looking to continue to build strength and speed. Thanks for all you do!
