Coach Iacopi grew up in Sonoma County and played his high school basketball at Petaluma High School. At Petaluma, he starred at guard and was named First Team All-League as a senior and averaged 17.0 PPG.

Coach Iacopi began his coaching career at the elementary and middle school levels of CYO. In 2006, he was named the head coach at Kenilworth Junior High School and led them to an undefeated season (14-0). In 2007, he was named a JV assistant coach at Casa Grande HS and in 2008 he was named the head freshman coach. He led the freshman team to two league championships in his four seasons at the helm. In 2012, he was named the head JV coach and led them to two league championships in three seasons. In 2016, Coach Iacopi was named the varsity assistant coach at his alma mater, Petaluma High School. In his first season, he helped them reach their league title game and clinch an NCS playoff berth.

Coach Iacopi has been with NBBA for the past five years. He has coached teams at numerous grade levels, directed summer camps, run skill clinics and is our Regional Director of Petaluma.
