What If I Play Another Sport?

It is possible for student-athletes to participate in the NBBA Travel Season while playing another spring sport. However, NBBA requires the student-athlete to meet the following requirements:

  • Select Team: Over the course of the season, student-athletes must attend at least 12 practices, and 5 of the 7 tournaments.

  • Club Team: Over the course of the season, student-athletes must attend at least 10 practices and 4 of the 6 tournaments. Given the fact the costs for the team remain constant, the dues for the season remain the same.

Financial Aid
  • Financial assistance may be available for certain circumstances of financial hardship. Families must apply and be qualified to receive assistance. The approval process will be evaluated by the NBBA administration. Full assistance is available in exceptionally rare situations.
  • Financial Aid Request Form: Download Here (PDF)
Refund Policy
  • Requested by August 25th = Full refund minus $250 deposit
  • Requested August 26th or later = NO REFUNDS
  • A season-ending injury = A prorated credit for future NBBA activities.
  • No refund will be granted due to an act of God, man-made or natural disaster, pandemic, or a planned PG&E; power outage.
  • NO EXCEPTIONS to the refund policy stated above.

Game Schedules

Select Teams (August 26 – October 27)

NBBA players with advanced fundamental skills who have committed themselves to becoming the best basketball players possible are invited to participate on NBBA Select. These players have excelled in their CYO, High School or previous NBBA leagues and are amongst the best in their age/grade. They have committed to playing a more competitive season, and will be exposed to the best possible competition. This team will practice twice per week and will participate in local tournaments and/or out of state tournaments. The NBBA staff is very careful in placing an athlete on a team that best fits their individual skill level so they can play and develop.
