What If I Play Another Sport?

It is possible for student-athletes to participate in the NBBA Travel Season while playing another spring sport. However, NBBA requires the student-athlete to meet the following requirements:

  • Select Team: Over the course of the season, student-athletes must attend at least 25 practices, and 8 of the 10 tournaments.
  • Club Team: Over the course of the season, student-athletes must attend at least 12 practices and 4 of the 6 tournaments.

Given the fact the costs for the team remain constant, the dues for the season remain the same.

Financial Assistance
  • Financial assistance may be available for certain circumstances of financial hardship. Families must apply and be qualified to receive assistance. The approval process will be evaluated by the NBBA administration. Full assistance is available in exceptionally rare situations.
  • Financial Aid Requests can be made to Brock Winter at brock@northbaybasketballacademy.com.
Refund Policy

The Refund Policy can be found by clicking here

Program Insurance: We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing insurance for participation in any NBBA program. Insurance can provide protection if an athlete or team is unable to attend a Program due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, or emergencies, and may help recoup registration costs. While NBBA does not provide cancellation insurance, we have facilitated an opportunity for you to do so through US Sports Club Insurance (β€œUSSCI”). You can purchase insurance coverage through USSCI during Program registration.

Game Schedules

NBBA players with advanced fundamental skills who have committed themselves to becoming the best basketball players possible are invited to participate on NBBA Select. These players have excelled in their CYO, Recreation, or Middle School leagues and are amongst the best in their age/grade. They have committed to playing a longer season, through late July, and will be exposed to the best possible competition. This team will practice twice per week and will participate in local tournaments and/or out of state tournaments. The NBBA staff is very careful in placing an athlete on a team that best fits their individual skill level so they can play and develop.
